(MIAMI GARDENS, FLA) -- The Florida Memorial University volleyball team will take on Southeastern University in hopes of reclaiming the No. 1 spot in the conference, Wednesday, October 9. 

The win would tie for the most wins in the school's history since the program's 13-13 overall season in 2002 and break the school's record for most conference wins in a season.

Florida Memorial's last game was a five-set thriller against Keiser University which ended in favor of the Lions. They fought back from a 2-0 lead from the Seahawks to win the match.

Southeastern's last win was also against the Seahawks that finished in four sets. 

In the last matchup between the Lions and the Fire, Southeastern finished with a clean sweep.

The Lions are 12-5 overall and 6-1 in the conference while the Fire sit at 11-5 and 4-3 in the conference.
