MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Florida Memorial's men have found success on the road this season – with both of its victories coming on opponents' floors – and they'll be looking to continue that trend Wednesday when they travel to face Florida National University at Bucky Dent Gymnasium.

The Lions (2-6) are scheduled to take the floor at 7:30 p.m., but will ultimately tip-off 30 minutes following the conclusion of the preceding women's basketball game between the programs.

Wednesday will also be an opportunity for FMU to avenge its November 19th loss to the Conquistadores (6-3), where a spirited second-half effort was still engulfed by the first-half deficit.

Since having their home opener spoiled by Florida National two weeks ago, the Lions have played a handful of close games. FMU knocked off Webber International University 89-88 on the road, was edged 84-73 by No. 21 Warner University despite holding a nine-point halftime lead, and fell 81-73 to Voorhees College.

As frustrating as the close loses have been, they still are sources of positivity that head coach Ansar Al-Ameen can lean on as he leads his still-shorthanded squad into a somewhat favorable stretch of the schedule.
