NEW ORLEANS, LA) -- The Florida Memorial University volleyball team traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana to participate in the Big Easy Blastoff hosted by Xavier University, August 30-31.
The Lions are one of, if not the first FMU team to travel by plane to participate in competition. Florida Memorial, now 2-2, will compete in four matches over the weekend.
The first match of the day for the Lions takes place at 11 a.m. against Point University and can be seen
here. The Skyhawks come into the match 2-4 after a 3-1 loss on the road against Life University.
Following that matchup, FMU will play again at 3PM against Indiana Tech. Supporters can check out all the action by clicking on this

After what all Lions fans hope to be a successful day, the team will return to action, Saturday at 3 P.M. to take on the
University of Mobile. The Lions will wrap up all conference play against the host
Xavier University at 7 P.M.
