(MIAMI GARDENS, FLA.) -- Chasing a program record, the Florida Memorial University volleyball team will host Coastal Georgia and Florida College in a tri-match, Saturday, September 28. 

In the first matchup of the day, the Lions will take on conference opponent Coastal Georgia at noon. 

Last season the CGU defeated Florida Memorial 3-0, winning their sets 25-18, 25-19, 25-19 respectively. 

Overall, the Lions are 0-6 against the Mariners in their last few meetings, including four since their opponent joined the Sun Conference in 2017.

The Mariners are 9-5 overall and 3-1 in the conference with wins over Warner, Ave Maria and Southeastern. 

Coastal Georgia will then take on Florida College at 2:00 P.M. The last time these two teams faced over, the Mariners came away with a 3-1 win. 

The Lions will close out the afternoon against Florida College who they last faced in 2017. The match went in favor of the Falcons 3-1. 

Florida Memorial now sits at 10-4 overall and 5-0 in the conference. Finishing the weekend with two wins will tie the school record for most wins in a volleyball season with 12 and will also tie the most conference wins in a season with six.
