MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Florida Memorial University will be looking to capture its fourth straight victory and keep pace in the race for the No. 1 spot in the Sun Conference standings when it travels to Lakeland, Florida to take on Southeastern University Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Saturday's match, which has been tabbed as the Sun Conference Volleyball Match of the Week, will be open to fans to attend in SEU's The Furnace Gymnasium. Tickets can be purchased online via the Southeastern athletic website. The match will also be streamed live online and can be viewed free of charge.

Florida Memorial (9-5, 8-2 The Sun Conference) kept pace with rival St. Thomas University for the top spot in the conference standings and clinched a TSC postseason tournament berth with its dominant 3-0 win over Warner University. Senior libero Keisha Santana Roldan recorded a season-high 33 digs while Daphinie Correa and Biancaliz Cruz tied for the game-high in kills with 11 each.

The Lions enter the weekend's matchup confident, not only riding the wave of its current winning streak but because they have already found success against the Fire this season. FMU manufactured a 3-1 (25-19, 19-25, 25-21, 25-20) home win against SEU back in September as outside hitter Taira Cottingham had one of her better games this season.

Southeastern (17-10, 5-4) enters having loss its past game – a 3-1 loss at Ave Maria University – and looking to hold on to its all-important No. 6 spot in the conference standings.

As the regular season wanes, Florida Memorial head coach Marrita Crockett-Moulton will make sure that her team remains in the right mental space – primed for a run not only at the Sun Conference "regular season championship" but a march towards the program's second TSC Tournament Championship in three years.
