FMU MBB Falls To NCAA Division-II Barry University Saturday

Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Florida Memorial University appeared to still have a bit of holiday malaise as it fell 112-68 to NCAA Division-II Barry University (Fla.) in a non-counting exhibition game Saturday night in the FMU Wellness Center.
 
How It Happened
  • FMU trailed 52-34 at halftime and saw Barry University extend its lead over the second half.
  • Barry at one point in the second half scored 21 unanswered points.
  • Florida Memorial battled with the Buccaneers early in the first half, at one point holding a four-point lead.
  • The Lions went on a 6-0 run early in the first half, getting three-straight dunks – by Brent Holcombe, Cheikh Kebe, and Mubashar Ali.
  • Barry's largest lead was a 49-point advantage before Kebe and Carington Campbell each knocked down three-pointers in the waning minutes to cut the final deficit to 112-68
