MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Florida Memorial University's women's soccer program will play what is the meat of their current road trip sandwich – playing game two of what will be three straight road matches – when it travels to face NCAA Division-II opponent Palm Beach Atlantic University Thursday night at PBA's Soccer/Lacrosse Field.

Thursday's game, which is set for a 6 p.m. kickoff, will also be the Lady Lions' second consecutive game against a D-II opponent. FMU took on Nova Southeastern University this past Monday.

Florida Memorial (0-3) will be looking to bounce back from the tough outing it had at Nova Southeastern earlier this week, when it failed to be credited with any shots or corner kicks.

FMU freshman goalkeeper Hailey Ilijin did have a season-high 15 saves Tuesday – a bittersweet accomplishment given she faced 23 shots on goal.

Lions first-year head coach Anna Maliszewska hopes her team shows more of the aggressiveness it had against Florida National University a week ago as to power a better outing against the host Sailfish.
