FMU SPORTS EQUINOX: Men's & women's soccer + volleyball at home on Saturday

Busy weekend ahead for FMU athletics as football travels to face Webber

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial athletics has a busy upcoming weekend, including three home games as well as a road football game.

First year head coach Bobby Rome and his FMU Lions football team travel to Babson Park to face Webber International at 1:30 p.m. as they jockey for playoff position, while first year head coach Jazmine Washington puts her team's four-game win streak on the line against Southeastern in what is set to be a fantastic match between the Lions (third in the Sun Conference) and the Fire (fifth in the Sun Conference) at the FMU Wellness Center. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Meanwhile, men's and women's soccer has a double-header at Broward College (South Campus) in Pembroke Pines, Fla. Head coach Daniel Radice and the Lions host Thomas University at 2 p.m. for Senior Day as FMU fights for a playoff spot. First year head coach Marc Lue-Young looks for his first career victory as his Lions host Warner University. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
