FMU Flag Football Falls At Keiser Wednesday

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Florida Memorial University's offense struggled to get on track Wednesday – amassing just 51 total offense – as it dropped its first road game of the season 27-7 to host Keiser University at KU's Turf Field.

How It Happened

FMU fell into a 12-0 hole through the opening minute of the second quarter and surrendered two more points to Keiser on a safety.
The Lions got on the board late in the second quarter when Amia Badgett connected with Ashleign Gary on a 12-yard strike in the end zone.
Florida Memorial's run game finished with negative (-35) yards.
Already leading 20-7, KU extended its lead late in the third quarter on a 6-yard interception return for a touchdown, creating what would be the final 27-7 margin.
The Lions were 0-for-6 on third-down conversions.
