FMU Flag Football Outdueled By Keiser University Thursday

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Playing its first-ever home night game, Florida Memorial University had its night get off to an inauspicious start and was never able to a positive rhythm going as it fell 19-0 to visiting Keiser University Thursday night at Bunche Park Field.

How It Happened

Thursday's game, which was slated for a 6 p.m., didn't kickoff off until 7:15 due to a pregame delay.
The first play of FMU's first offensive possession was a pick-six interception return for a Keiser touchdown.
KU extended its lead to 13-0 late in the first quarter with a 9-yard touchdown pass.
Florida Memorial held the Seahawks scoreless in the second quarter and trailed by the same 13-point margin heading to the second half.
Keiser extended its lead in the third quarter with another TD pass.
Trailing 19-0 through the fourth quarter, officials ended the game at the two-minute mark.
