Lions Flag Football Topped By St. Thomas University Saturday

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Florida Memorial University was haunted by turnovers as it fell 46-6 to host St. Thomas University Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened

After the teams played through a scoreless first quarter, FMU fell into a 20-0 hole during the second quarter.
The Lions threw five interceptions Saturday.
Florida Memorial got on the board in the third quarter on a Diamond Mays touchdown pass to Linsley Francois.
St. Thomas extended its lead to 34-6 through the third and tacked on another 12 points in the fourth to create the final 46-6 margin.
