MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Florida Memorial University will be looking to snap a pair of undesirable streaks Thursday when it travels to face Warner University at 3 p.m. at WU Field.

About The Lions (1-7, 0-7 SUN)
  • FMU enters the conference matchup having dropped its past four games.
  • Worse yet, the Lions have been held scoreless in their past two games – at Webber International University and at home against Keiser University this past Thursday.
  • Erika Johnson continues to impress with her play, especially on the defensive side of the ball – having totaled a game-high 7 total flag pulls against Keiser.
  • Florida Memorial dropped its earlier matchup against Warner University this season, falling 54-0 at home – still its largest defeat deficit this season.
  • Receiver Linsley Francois is becoming one of quarterback Diamond Mays' favorite targets, leading the team in targets over the past two games.

Scouting Warner (5-4, 2-1 SUN)
  • Warner will be playing its first home game of the season when it welcomes the Lions.
  • WU is currently on a two-game losing streak after dropping a tough 13-12 game to St. Thomas University this past Thursday.
  • The Royals are one of the highest scoring teams in the Sun Conference this season, averaging 28 points per game. They also have posted a 72-0 win over Milligan University (Tenn.).

Series History
  • FMU trails the all-time series against the Royals 0-1.
  • Warner won the first meeting between the programs 54-0 earlier this season.

Keys To Victory
  • The Lions must find a way to build some offensive momentum – stringing together positive plays to move the ball down the field.
