FMU offers special limited seating for flights to Southern game in Baton Rouge

Airfare includes flight, hotel, transportation, and game day tailgate, as well as admission

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - Florida Memorial athletics is providing a special experience for its football contest against Southern University in Baton Rouge, La. The competition is set for Labor Day Weekend on Saturday, September 3 at A.W. Mumford Stadium.

Air transportation will be provided through a private charter airplane that will carry the team along with a limited number of guests. The plane, which will accompany 40 extra guests, will depart from Miami International Airport in a private Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) Terminal. A plane-side security screening will be conducted, and dry snacks as well as beverage services are included on board.

Departure from Miami is at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 2, and departure from Baton Rouge will be after the contest on Saturday, Sept. 3.

Ground Transportation will be provided by Lewis Coaches, Inc. Lewis Coaches, Inc. specializes in group charters, escorted group tours, casino services, convention shuttles and related services. Their fleet of modern motor coaches is well maintained to assure the best in transportation.

Hotel reservations will be made at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center, located in downtown Baton Rouge. The Capitol Center has been recognized by Historic Hotels of America and is located on the banks of the Mississippi River, two blocks from Louisiana's Old State Capitol and a mile from the USS KIDD Veterans Museum. Hotel rooms are based on double occupancy.

A game day tailgate catered by Mike Anderson's Seafood Restaurant is also included in the package. This wonderful establishment prides itself on its rich, Louisiana, culinary tradition of creating amazing memories around food, friends & family.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. in Baton Rouge.
