MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | According to the National Hurricane Center, the South Florida area is under a Tropical Storm Watch. Due to this status, Florida Memorial University's Emergency Management Team has decided to suspend all operations, classes, and events beginning today, Sept. 27 at 4:00 p.m., continuing throughout all of Wednesday, Sept. 28.

As a result, Wednesday's double feature between Florida Memorial and Webber International (volleyball) at the FMU Wellness Center as well as FMU versus St. Thomas (men's soccer) at Broward College South Campus have both been postponed. Updated times and dates are currently to be determined at a later date.

Furthermore, the women's conference soccer match originally scheduled for Thursday against St. Thomas has been postponed to Saturday, October 1 at 12 p.m. at Broward College South Campus.
