Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla. | The Lions scored just 33 first-half points and trailed by nine at the break before exploding for 56 second-half points en route to an 89-78 victory over Warner at the Turner Athletic Center. The win marks the second straight conference victory for the Lions, who are fighting for a spot in the Sun Conference Men's Basketball Tournament. Last year, the Lions won the conference tournament.
Jordan Watkins played 34 minutes and produced a game-high 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line in 34 minutes of action while teammate
Tavin Pierre-Philippe added 14 points, six boards and shot 6-of-8 from the charity stripe.

Jordan Jackson added 13 points and shot 3-of-5 from downtown while fellow Lion
Jonathan Vilchez generated a double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 boards in the road victory.
Overall, Florida Memorial dominated the glass and won the rebound battle 47-26. Both Warner and FMU turned the ball over 13 times each, but the Lions finished with a game-high 50 points in the paint.
FMU returns to action on Thursday, February 2 as they host the College of Coastal Georgia in Sun Conference action. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
