McKenna Dawes generated a ground out RBI that scored Heidy Olivio.
FMU tied the game in the second inning when
Ciera Taylor produced an RBI-single that brought home
Alexandrea Matheny.
Furthermore, in the third inning, FMU exploded for five runs and never looked back.
Breanna Reyes started things off with an RBI-single that allowed Olivio to score her second run of the game. Moments later, Dawes produced her second RBI of the game with a single to right field that brought Reyes home. Shortly after,
Kayla Jade Morales generated an RBI-single to left field that scored Dawes. Morales eventually scored the fifth run of the inning as a result of an error, bringing the score to 7-2.
Before the end of the contest, the Lions added a total of three insurance runs to seal the deal.
