FMU flag dismantles Reinhardt 33-0 in biggest victory of season

Newly activated QB Yanize Montgomery passed for a FMU-record 4 td's

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial had their biggest win of the season in a 33-0 destruction of Reinhardt at Bunche Park.

Newly activated quarterback Yanize Montgomery threw two touchdowns in the first quarter, while the Lions defense produced an early interception on the second play of the game.

Montgomery broke the FMU flag football touchdown record with a total of four passing touchdowns while former track star Sara Walker took an 85-yard interception to the house, scoring the team's first defensive touchdown of the year.

Overall, FMU's defense came up big on drive after drive, not allowing the Eagles to find the end zone all evening long.

The Lions return to action on Thursday, April 6 as they travel to West Palm Beach to face Keiser. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
