MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial suffered its biggest lost of the season in a 41-0 loss to the top ranked team in the NAIA, Thomas University.
The Lions defense held strong for most of the first half and only allowed 13 points. However, the Night Hawks pulled away in the second half.
On the other end of the ball, starting quarterback
Yanize Montgomery and the Lions offense struggled to move the ball against a stingy Thomas defense.
The Lions return to action on Wednesday, April 19 as they travel to Miami Gardens to face St. Thomas. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
