Box Score WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. | Florida Memorial suffered their first loss of the season in their conference opener against the fifth ranked team in the country, Keiser University, by a score of 5-0.
For the first time this season, the Lions were shutout in a match.
Despite the disappointing result, FMU led the match in saves with five, all from goalkeeper Maria Goncalves Guimares.
The Lions return to action Saturday, September 16, where they'll host Ave Maria for another conference matchup after back-to-back road matches. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Dr. Lester Brown Park.
