WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. | Florida Memorial University women's soccer team dropped a close road match to Keiser University 1-0 at Arrigo - Vecellio Field. The contest was the narrowest in series history.
FMU generated two shots in the match, One from freshman
Anna Lluch Peral and the other from senior
Amealia Smith. Goalkeeper
Lucia Martinez Garcia had 13 saves in the match.
The loss drops FMU to 5-4-1 on the year and 2-3-1 in conference play.
The Lions return to action Saturday, October 19, when they'll travel to Ave Maria to take on the Gyrenes. Kick off is slated for 11 a.m. at Gyrene Field.
