Thaymiluz Santos capitalized with a touchdown pass to Johnson to make it an eight-point game going into the half. The Bobcats pulled away in the second half, scoring 12 unanswered points to hand FMU the 26-6 defeat at AutoNation Field.
As FMU's signal caller Santos threw one touchdown but added a pair of interceptions, including one with less than 30 seconds to go to seal the game.
The loss drops Florida Memorial to 0-3 on the year and 0-3 in conference play as they search for their first win of the season.
The Lions return to action Thursday, February 29, where they'll host Fort Lauderdale in non-conference action. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Bunche Park.
