FMU flag football struggles in 44-0 defeat to Warner

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | Florida Memorial's second game against Warner ends in a 44-0 shutout loss at Bunche Park at Teddy Bridgewater Field. The Lions struggled to find their footing on offense all afternoon, as they failed to reach the end zone once during the contest.

Despite keeping the game close at the half, FMU allowed 31 unanswered points in the second half, along with two costly interceptions that resulted in the shutout. Junior Ericka Johnson reeled in one interception in the game, as she continues her stellar season.

The loss drops FMU to 0-6 on the year and 0-5 in conference play.

The Lions return to action Thursday, March 21, where they'll host Life for SUN Conference action. Game time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Bunche Park.
