MIAMI, Fla. | Florida Memorial University defeated SCAD-Savannah 2-1 at Orange Bowl Field for their fourth conference win of the season. The Lions took control of the second half and never looked back, culminating in an impressive win.
Scoring didn't start until the second half, when SCAD got on top in the 48th minute. FMU answered not long after, when junior
Rafael Coronado scored in the 51st minute to tie things up 1-1. Coronado sealed the deal with his second goal of the match in the 75th minute, and the Lions held on to take home the victory.

Ricardo Delgado Villalobos played all 90 minutes, finishing with one goal allowed and five saves.
The win advances FMU to 7-6-3 on the year and 4-2-1 in conference play.
The Lions return to action Wednesday, October 29, when they'll host Keiser for Senior Day. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at Dr. Lester Brown Park.
