Lions flag football falls in season opener

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. | Florida Memorial University fell 68-0 to Keiser in the season opener. The Lions failed to score against the Seahawks all game as multiple turnovers plagued FMU all afternoon.

Senior Thaymiluz Santos got the nod as the starting quarterback, failing to reach the end zone once while throwing multiple interceptions, including a pick-six in the second half.

The Lions return to action on Friday, where they'll play host to Barry. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m. at Bunche Park in Miami Gardens, Fla.
