CALDWELL, Idaho | March Madness is officially here, and Florida Memorial University's Men's and Women's Basketball teams are ready to make their mark on the national stage as they compete in the 2025 NAIA National Championship Tournament tonight! Both teams have fought their way through a competitive season and now enter the first and second rounds of the tournament with championship aspirations.
Lions on the Hunt: FMU Men's Basketball
For the second consecutive year, the FMU Men's Basketball team has earned a spot in the NAIA National Championship Tournament. This season, the Lions enter as the #8 seed and will compete in the Caldwell, Idaho regional bracket. Their first-round matchup is set against #9 seed Friends (Kan.) on Friday, March 14, at 7:00 PM EST (5:00 PM MST).
The Caldwell, Idaho site will host the 1st and 2nd rounds, featuring four teams battling for a spot in the Sweet Sixteen in Kansas City, Missouri. A win in the first round will propel FMU into the second round, where they will face the winner of the matchup between #1 College of Idaho and #16 UC Merced (Calif.) on Saturday, March 15, at 9:00 PM EST (7:00 PM MST).
