In two seasons, FMU head coach Delano Thomas finishes with a 47-15 overall record, including 3-1 in the SUN Conference Tournament.

The NAIA National Championship coach led the Lions to a 2023-24 SUN Conference Men's Basketball Tournament Championship victory over its arch rival, including back-to-back trips to the NAIA Men's Basketball National Tournament.
