MIAMI, Fla. | The Florida Memorial University men's soccer team trailed 1-0 before scoring the equalizer just moments later, ending in a 1-1 draw against Xavier (La.) at Orange Bowl Field.

After a scoreless first half, the FMU Lions got behind after Xavier scored the first goal of the match in the 59th minute. However, the Lions quickly responded in less than one minute as Rafael Coronado found the back of the net on an assist from newcomer Nikos Koutsourais, bringing the contest to 1-1.

FMU goalkeeper Ricardo Delgado Villalobos had a sensational outing, producing a season-high seven saves in the draw. He saved the Lions on numerous occasions in one on one scenarios, guessing correctly against the swift Gold Rush attackers.

Florida Memorial University returns to action on Saturday, August 30 as they face Florida College on the road in non-conference action. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m. in Temple Terrace, Fla.
