Omarion Newson joined the FMU men's basketball team in fall of 2023.

A native to York City, Pa., Newson graduated from York Academy Regional Charter School in York City, Pa. in 2023. He played under head coach Clovis Gallon for one year, a year he won Most Honorable Mention.

Newson chose FMU ebcause he wanted to get away from home. His favorite part about FMU is the friendships he makes.
