The Sun Conference announced the 2016 Women's Basketball All-Conference team at the conference tournament banquet hosted by Southeastern on Thursday. The All-Conference team, which features seven first team and seven second team selections, was voted on by the league's head coaches. Ashley Henry was named Sun Conference All-Defensive Team honor.
 
 
Henry, a sophomore forward from Chicago, Illinois was named to the All-Defensive Team.  Henry lead the team in scoring at 11.9 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. Henry also ranks number 1 in NAIA Division II in offensive rebounds per game (4.704), ranks number 28 in NAIA Division II in total rebounds per game (9.000) and ranks number 45 in NAIA Division II in total rebounds (243).  Ashley Henry was also named Sun Conference player of the week earlier in the season.
