TAMPA, Fla. – The Florida Memorial Lions were picked to finish eighth (seven points) in the 2023 Preseason Coaches' Poll, selected by the league's head coaches.
Keiser University has been selected to win the 2023 Sun Conference (SUN) Women's Soccer Regular Season title.
The Seahawks, totaling 49 points in the poll, have won the last two regular season titles (2022 & 2021) and received seven first-place votes this year. Southeastern is voted to finish in the second-place spot, tallying 41 points. Just behind SEU is SCAD-Savannah with 39 points, with the Bees earning the other first-place vote.
Collecting 31 total points in the poll and slated in the fourth spot is St. Thomas. Voted fifth is Webber International with 21 points and just behind the Warriors is Ave Maria (20 points).
Warner and Florida Memorial complete the poll with 16 points and seven points, respectively.
The FMU Lions kick off the season on Friday, August 25 as they travel to Temple Terrace to face Florida College for the season opener.
Conference play begins Wednesday, September 13 with the conference tournament to begin Saturday, November 4. Scores for all games can be found on

Rachel Dalton
Junior | Venice, Fla. | Midfielder
Dalton enters her junior season at Ave Maria ranked in the top six in program history in goals, assists, and points. Across her first two seasons on campus, Dalton has 13 goals and eight assists across 30 matches. The midfielder was a Second Team All-Sun Conference selection during her freshman season of 2021.

Sierra Bartley
Freshman | Ontario, Canada | Forward
Bartley is a versatile attacker and a creative playmaker who is great at holding up play and creating chances for her teammates. She can make runs behind the backline and finish clinically. She'll be a true threat for the FMU Lions.
Keiser
Viki Adam
Junior | Gyongesh, Hungary | Midfielder
Adam played 23 games, helping the Seahawks to a 22-1-1 record in her first season with the team. She scored her first goal at Keiser in a 7-1 win over Brewton-Parker. Adam also tallied two assists on the year and was a focal point for a midfield that led the Seahawks to their second undefeated regular season in program history.

Senior | Kopavogur, Iceland | Midfielder
Baldursdottir was a 2022 Second Team All-American and was a First Team All-Sun Conference honoree last season.

Ramsey Watkins

Watkins was named Honorable Mention All-Sun Conference last season after playing in 20 games and scoring five goals.

Gil is a high energy player that will impact the field and lead us from the back.

Senior | Bogota, Columbia | Midfielder
Gabriela Vargas is looking to lead her team in her final and senior year at Warner, She looks to improve on a great 2022 season where she led the team in goals and total points.
Webber International
Deborah Guillen
Senior | Pembroke Pines, Fla. | Midfielder
Guillen will be one of the Warrior's captains and leaders throughout the 2023 season. She is a special player who instills confidence in her team. Guillen scored the final goal for the Warriors last season in the Sun Conference Tournament against SCAD- Savannah. She has made big strides in the offseason and will continue to lead the team throughout the upcoming season.
