FMU struggles on road against Fire

Box Score LAKELAND, Fla. | Florida Memorial struggled on the road and fell 4-0 to Southeastern in SUN action.

The Lions allowed 16 shots on goal in the opening half as the Fire took a 2-0 lead into halftime.

FMU striker Amealia Smith finished with a team-high two shots while Lions goalkeeper Maria Goncalves Guimares produced a match-high seven saves in the loss.

The Lions return to action Saturday, September 30, where they'll host SCAD-Savannah in conference play. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Dr. Lester Brown Park.
