WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. | Florida Memorial University's women's volleyball team struggled on the road against Keiser University, falling 3-0 (25-13, 25-8, 25-8) in the Student Life Center.
FMU generated 20 kills, led by freshman
Desiree Donald, but surrendered 43 to the Seahawks. Junior
Julia Carneiro led the team in blocks with two while freshman
Amari Nunez led the team in assists with nine. On the defensive end, Nunez led the way with seven digs.
The loss drops FMU to 1-15 on the year and 0-6 in conference play.
The Lions return to action Saturday, October 5, when they'll host Warner University for Pink Out. First serve is slated for 2 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
