MARION, Ind. | Three members of Florida Memorial's men's track and field team will participate in the 2024 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships from May 22-24 on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University.
Jaylen Coleman,
Omar Kelly and
Jaylyn Session will represent the Lions in various events at nationals.
"The advancement of all the athletes has been great, considering the short time we've spent together," said first year head coach Dwayne Miller. "We've been making great progress, and now we get to showcase our talent at nationals. We're looking to just improve on what we've done so far."
Coleman, who finished SUN Conference runner-up in the men's long jump, will participate in the same event in Indiana. Kelly, who came in third place in the men's 400 meter run at the recent SUN Conference championships, is making his debut at NAIA nationals.
Session will be representing the Lions in both the men's 100 meter and 200 meter dash, as he earned SUN Conference runner-up in both events.
