After leading by just two points after one quarter of play, the Lions exploded to the tune of 31 second quarter points and never looked back. FMU produced four scorers in double figures and were led by
Kamesha Moore who finished with a game-high 20 points, nine rebounds, three steals and two assists while teammate
Alyza Winston generated 16 points, two boards, one assist and one steal in the win.

Brittany Rivera chipped in with 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the field to go along with seven rebounds and one block while teammate
Alicia Bates added 10 for FMU. Lions forward
Agar Farres Garcia produced eight points and 11 boards in the victory.
The Lions bench mob outscored the Seahawks bench 33-23 and proved to be the difference throughout the contest.
FMU improves to 14-2 overall.
Florida Memorial University returns to the court on Saturday, January 25 as they host Southeastern in conference play. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
