Ariana Artavia found open space and beat the goalkeeper to score her first goal of the season and seal the historic win for FMU in their second conference match of the season. The win snaps a 12-match losing streak to the Fire, and the first against SEU since 2014.
Artavia led the team in shots with three and played the full 90 minutes. She helped control the pace on the field and stayed active in the midfield, creating chances and keeping pressure on the Fire.

Isabella Rueda also had a strong game. playing all 90 minutes and racking up five saves and her fourth shutout of the season. Senior
