Box Score 4 MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | After dropping the first two games of the series, Florida Memorial University stormed back to win game three in dramatic fashion before crusing to a game-four victory, staying alive in the SUN Conference postseason race in two must-win contests.

The Lions got behind 4-1 in the first inning after two quick runs from Warner, followed by a two-run shot. The Royals also scored four runs in the third and seventh inning, running away with game one of the series. FMU starting pitcher

Florida Memorial University gave up a run in each of the first three innings, eventually scoring their first run in the sixth inning, but it was their only run in the contest as FMU fell in back-to-back contests. FMU starting pitcher

In a must-win game for the Lions, FMU took an early 3-0 lead in the first inning before giving up a 2-run home run in the second inning. After responding with a run in the bottom stanza, Warner tied the game 4-4 in the top of the fifth inning before taking a 5-4 lead in the sixth inning.
In the bottom of the ninth, with their backs against the wall trailing 5-4, on the brink of elimination, FMU speedster Pharon Charlton literally flew around the bases, eventually scoring the game-tying run on an RBI-single from teammate and pinch hitter

Christopher Marte hit a 3-run walk-off home run to left field that ignited Lions fans at Harry T. Moore Baseball Field, holding on for the 3-run victory in dramatic fashion.

Andrew Tano struck out two Royals batters and allowed three earned runs in five innings pitched before being replaced by
Kelvin Feliciano, who struck out one batter and allowed no earned runs in two innings of work. FMU relief pitcher
Daniel Ramos was credited with the victory, replacing Feliciano in the top of the eighth inning. Ramos struck out two Royals batters while allowing no earned runs in two innings on the mound.

Raymond Rivera hit a solo home run to center field. FMU added three additional runs in the third inning to pull away for good.

FMU now awaits the results from the remaining SUN Conference games in order to find out the final seeding for the 2025 SUN Conference Baseball Tournament. The Lions are currently tied with Warner for the final spot.
