FORT MYERS, Fla. | Florida Memorial University struggled against NCAA Division I opponent Florida Gulf Coast, losing 4-0 on the road at Pickering Field at the FGCU Soccer Complex. The Lions struggled to generate any offense throughout the match, as they produced only eight shots in the loss.

The duo of Vicente Silva and Tinotenda Dominic Nhema led the team in shots with two on the night, while goalkeeper Ricardo Delgado Villalobos produced 12 saves in the match.

The loss marks the second straight for FMU, dropping them to 2-2-1 on the year.

Florida Memorial University returns to action Saturday, September 13, when they'll travel to Miami Shores to take on Barry. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
