TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference announces the players of the week for baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's golf, esports, men's and women's indoor track & field, women's lacrosse, and softball for the week of February 16, 2026.

Men's Basketball Players of the Week
Defensive Player of the Week
Cameron Baldwin, Keiser
Junior | Acworth, Ga. | Forward
Notes: Cameron Baldwin anchored the defense in a pivotal 2-0 week, highlighted by a statement road victory over No. 4 Ave Maria. Baldwin averaged 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per contest. Against Webber International, he totaled six rebounds and three blocks in only 17 minutes during a 105-63 win. He followed that with an even stronger presence at No. 4 Ave Maria, pulling down eight rebounds, including five on the offensive glass, while adding three more blocks to help secure the 91-84 win. The Seahawks defense held the Gyrenes 10 points below their scoring average. Additionally, the 21-rebound margin is the second-largest this season for the Seahawks. The Gyrenes came into the contest averaging 41.5 rebounds per game and were held to just 28 on the evening.
Offensive Player of the Week
Adrian Cruz, St. Thomas
Redshirt Sophomore | Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico
Notes: Cruz has been stellar in his last few games. With the Bobcats on a three game win streak, Cruz has shown his offensive ability scoring 36 points against Warner and 23 points vs Florida Memorial. Cruz has also been efficient in his shooting, shooting near 66% from the field.

Notes: Mya Herman led a Fire unit that held teams to 39 points a game this week. There weren't many rebounds to be had as the Fire forced 58 turnovers this week as a unit, Herman leading the way seven steals. Additionally, she grabbed eight rebounds.

Notes: Rainey has scored 23 and 17 points in the last 2 games. She continues to lead the team in PPG and sits third in the conference , averaging 16 PPG.

Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Dario Laing, Southeastern
Senior | St. Catherine, Jamaica
Notes: Dario Laing was the lone NAIA competitor in the 60m Hurdles event full of NCAA DI compeition. Qualifying for the semifinal heat, and notching an NAIA 'B' Standard with a 10th place finish and time of 8.16.
Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Junior | Wesley Chapel, Fla.
Notes: Burns went to compete at the Music City Challenge, featuring a majority of NCAA DI competitors. He turned in a mark of 5.95m in the Long Jump for a 24th place finish.
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Maci Mills, Southeastern
Senior | Ocala, Fla.
Notes: Mills now owns the SEU School Record in both the Indoor and Outdoor 800m Dash's. Posting a blistering 2:12.37, that ranks fifth in the NAIA, and first by seven seconds in the Sun Conference. Her mark also hit the NAIA 'A' Standard as she finished behind the now second best mark in the NAIA and NCAA DI competition.
Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Charlotte Cattermole-Williams, Southeastern
Graduate Student | Clitheroe, England
Notes: Cattermole-Williams continues to dominate in the Weight Throw. In a field of NCAA DI and NCAA DII competition, she was the only NAIA competitor. She turned in a fifth place finish out of 32 athletes, heaving a new SEU School record mark of 18.05m. The record toss was the fifth time she had done it in the last six events. The mark was good enough for the NAIA No.5, SUN No. 1, and NAIA 'A' Standard.

Notes: Cuello hit 2 home runs over the weekend, in game one the Walkoff three run bomb, and in game 2 a dead center shot off the batters eye in conjunction with the Warriors 10 run inning. In game 3 he hit a bases clearing double to tie the game in the 8th and allow the Warriors to win it in the 9th.

Notes: Dominated out of the bullpen in game two. Struck out 8 batters in 4.0 innings of work to earn the victory.
Softball Players of the Week

Ella Brooks, Southeastern
Senior | Knoxville, Tenn. | Outfielder
Notes: Ella Brooks struggled to not hit the ball this past weekend. Going 8-12 in the 4-0 week. In the series with Thomas, she went 3-5, drove home two runs, scored a run for each time she got on base. In game two against Thomas, she stole second every time she reached first. In the sweep of ABAC, she went 5-7, scoring four times, and driving home four runs, all of which came on a Grand Slam that was just the third homer hit of her career. She hit .667 over the course of the week, getting on base 71.4 percent of the time, and slugged at 1.000. Being a centerfield putouts were rare, but she converted on all five chances.
Pitcher of the Week
Maria Zelenka, Southeastern
Junior | Miami, Fla.
Notes: Zelenka kept her season ERA at a perfect 0.00 this past weekend. Notching eight strikeouts a contest with a 10 strikeout outing in the 9-0 win over ABAC. Her k/7 now sits at 12.82, which is 12th in the NAIA, and she has pitched more than double the amount of innings then the 11 in front of her. Her 24 strikeouts sits at 8th in the NAIA, and she has yet to walk a batter this year.

Baylee Walker, Keiser
Sophomore | Sebastian, Fla. | Midfielder
Notes: Baylee Walker delivered a dominant all-around performance in Keiser's 19-6 road win at St. Thomas. She recorded three caused turnovers and three ground balls in the contest. Walker also controlled the draw circle with four draw control. Offensively, she capitalized on those extra chances, scoring three goals and adding two assists for five total points.

Notes: Anaya Lister is off to a red hot start to the 2026 campaign! In the Royals opening weekend, the ladies grabbed 2 wins and Lister recorded an impressive 14 points, netting 9 goals (80.0 sog%), and adding 5 assists.

Notes: Greenleaf defended his title at the Coastal Georgia Men's Invitational while also helping the Warriors to the team title. It is the third year in a row a Warrior has won the event.
Women's Golfer of the Week

Sophomore | Shenzhen, GuangDong, China
Notes: Luo tied for first after two rounds with a score of 146 (74, 72) forcing a playoff. Luo and Embry-Riddle (Ariz.)'s Bellamaria Mantini replayed the 18th hole with Luo shooting par to win as Mantini bogeyed. The No. 6 Bees finished second overall, eight strokes behind No. 1 Keiser.

Notes: Luis single handedly took 12 stocks on TAMUT's roster winning game two by himself. Led his team to a 2-0 conference win over TAMUT.
Rocket League Player of the Week

Notes: Porter hit the game winning goal to hold TAMUT and win the set in game 5. He totaled an average RL score of 203. He also tallied three goals, one assist, and four saves.
