Oshynn Cosom joined the FMU women's soccer team in fall 2024.
A native of Mount Holly, N.J., Cosom previously attended Lincoln University of Pennsylvania for two years, where she played on the women's soccer team under head coach Sal Minor. Cosom graduated from Bordentown Regional High School in 2022. She played on the women's soccer team under head coach Dominic Castaldo, as well as the basketball and track & field teams. She earned multiple awards and accolades, including:
- Second-team all-county (soccer, junior year)
- First-year all-county (soccer, senior year)
- Second-year all-county (basketball, freshman and sophomore year)
- First-year all-county (basketball, junior and senior year)
Cosom played for the Bordentown Jaguars FC team for seven years, winning two state championships under head coach Charles Blain.
Cosom chose FMU because she wanted to keep attending an HBCU and felt very gravitated to the atmosphere while touring the school. Her interests include:

Cosom is the niece of the late Steve Bracy who went to Tulsa, University and played in the NBA for the Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks.
