MIAMI, Fla. | Riley Minix came back to action this and showed why he is the reigning Sun Conference Player of the Year with two strong outings. Tiana Ayulo led her team to two crucial road victories as the Lions took on the Georgia trip this last week.
These awards are based on performances from November 28 to December 4.

Sun Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Tiana Ayulo – Florida Memorial | Jr. – Shooting Guard – Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Ayulo averaged 17.5 points, 14 rebounds and 4.5 steals per game in her first 2 games of the season, leading FMU to two blowout conference victories. She also made 5-of-6 free throws in a perfect 2-0 week for the Lady Lions.
Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Riley Minix – Southeastern | Sr. – Small Forward – Vero Beach, Fla.
Minix returned to the Fire lineup this week and averaged a double-double to help SEU get back in the win column twice. His 19 points and 12 rebounds were key to an 87-69 win over Webber International, then had a double-double by halftime of a 64-57 win at Warner. The senior finished with 24 points and 23 rebounds in the game at Warner. For the week, the All-American averaged 21.5 points and 17.5 rebounds, shooting almost 52% from the field and almost 43% from 3-point land.
