Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. | The Lions dismantled the Virgin Islands, scoring a season-high 30 fourth-quarter points en route to a 86-38 at the FMU Wellness Center. The win marks their second in a row as they prepare for another contest in less than 24 hours.

Dasiah Thornton continued her sensational campaign and produced 18 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field to go along with four boards and three assists, but had five turnovers in the contest while first-team All-SUN selection
Chantel Barnett added 17 points in the lopsided victory.
FMU's defense was sensational throughout the contest, forcing 26 first-half turnovers for the Buccaneers.

Zalika Stevens and
Quameerah Peterson-Gray both chipped in with 12 points apiece for the Lions, who improve to 3-2 on the year.
The Lions return to action on Thursday, November 16, where they'll host the Virgin Islands in a rematch. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the FMU Wellness Center.
