MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. | After a two-game skid, the Lions return to the win column with a dominating 81-57 win over Kentucky Christian. After a narrow five-point lead in the first quarter, FMU exploded with 24 points in both the second and third quarters en route to the home victory.

Dasiah Thornton led the team in scoring with 22 points, going 7-of-14 from the field and 5-of-6 from downtown while teammate
Nyah Johnson followed suit with 13 points, going 2-of-2 from three-point land along with three rebounds. Teammates
Madison Sjogreen and
Cor'Niya Johnson each chipped in 12 points apiece for FMU, rounding out four Lions scorers in double-figures.
The win moves FMU to 6-4 on the season. This is the fifth time the Lions won by 20 or more points this year.
Florida Memorial returns to action on Saturday, December 29, where they'll take on Fort Lauderdale in the Keiser New Year's Classic. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in West Palm Beach, Fla.
