MIAMI, Fla. | The 2022-23 All-Sun Conference Women's Basketball Teams were announced on Thursday as voted on by the league's nine head coaches. This year's teams feature ten first-team selections and ten second-team honorees.

Overall, nine different schools placed at least one player among the group of 20 that make up the first- and second-team all-conference units. This year's teams comprise of two graduate students, ten seniors, three juniors, and five sophomores.

St. Thomas led all teams with four all-conference honorees, including first-team selections Kasey Gagan and Mya Moye while Florida Memorial led the first-team accolades with three all-conference selections, including first-teamers Tianna Ayulo, Chantel Barnett, and Aliyah Deen-Ahmad.

Warner totaled two all-conference selections on the first team in Jasmine Edwards and Chanelle McDonald. First-teamer Kennedy Schlabach highlighted Keiser's two all-conference selections. Southeastern also had two all-conference selections, including first-teamer Gabby Suarez. Webber International tallied two all-conference honorees, including first-teamer Jaida Burgess.

Ave Maria and Coastal Georgia had two second-team selections, while Thomas University had one.

The Sun Conference Specialty Awards for Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Champion of Character will be announced Friday.

The semifinals of the 2023 Sun Conference Women's Basketball Championship will take place on Friday, February 24, at Florida Memorial in Miami Gardens, Florida. Semifinal number one, featuring the second-seeded St. Thomas Bobcats versus the third-seeded Southeastern Fire, will begin at 4:00 p.m. Game two, featuring top-seeded Florida Memorial Lions versus fifth-seeded Ave Maria Gyrenes, is slated to start at 6:00 p.m.
