MIAMI, Fla. – A busy week in the Sun Conference saw a flip in the Men's Basketball standings while the Women's side is looking to lock in playoff spots. FMU senior guard
Aliyah-Deen Ahmad was named a 4x SUN Women's Basketball Player of the Week as her team goes for 13-straight conference victories tonight against Ave Maria. Baseball had a great showing at the East/West Challenge Presented BY: NAIA Ball representing why we are one of the best in the nation. Keiser Tennis had the highlight of the week taking home the first ever ITA NAIA Indoor Championships on both the men and women while taking down powerhouse no. 1 Georgia Gwinnett.
These awards are based on performances from January 30 to February 5.

Sun Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Aliyah-Deen Ahmad – Florida Memorial | Gr. – Guard – Corona, Calif.
Ahmad, now the 4x Sun Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week continues her sensational streak with two more conference victories leading FMU with 24.5 points on 63 percent shooting for the week to go along with 9.5 rebounds per game. Florida Memorial has now won 12-straight conference victories and remain the top ranked team in the Sun.

Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Joseph Martz – Warner |Sr. – Guard – Orlando, Fla.
Martz led the Royals to a big week with two Sun Conference victories taking down Southeastern and Keiser. Martz averaged 20-points per game while shooting 41.1-percent from the field and 33.3-percent from behind the arc.
