Defensive Player of the Week
Brian Holmes, Ave Maria

Notes: Brian Holmes led the secondary on Saturday with two interceptions in Ave Maria's first conference win. It is the first multi-interception game for a Gyrene since 2019. Holmes' first interception ended a seven-play drive for the Night Hawks and kept Thomas out of the redzone. The second was in the third quarter, ending Thomas' first drive of the half and setting Ave Maria up at the Thomas 22-yard line. The Gyrenes scored a touchdown on the following possession to take a 17-3 lead.
Offensive Player of the Week
Jerodd Sims, Florida Memorial

Notes: Sims posted back-to-back 200-yard performances. This time, running for 205 yards on 20 carries and two touchdowns. He averaged 10.3 yards per carry and added a catch for two yards in the process.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Dorian Hall, Keiser

Notes: Freshman Dorian Hall was a perfect 5-of-5 on extra-point attempts while averaging 41.5 yards per punt on Saturday as Keiser defeated St. Thomas, 35-14. Hall only needed to produce two punts in the contest, booting a pair of 40+ kicks. He also kicked off six times for 370 yards. On the year, Hall is a perfect 28-of-28 on extra-point attempts (leads the SUN). Hall has recorded 2,341 yards on kickoffs this season, averaging 63.3 yards per kick. Of his 37 kickoffs, 16 have resulted in touchbacks.
