TAMPA, Fla. - The 2024-25 All-Sun Conference Women's Basketball Teams were announced on Wednesday afternoon as voted on by the league's nine head coaches, with Florida Memorial University landing two players on the conference's top team.
In this season's All-Conference selections, Southeastern University led the way with four players named to the First Team: Anaya Coleman, Grace Field, Mya Herman, and Jodi Mullins. Keiser University also made a strong showing with Elise Ellison and Elliana Schaefer on the First Team and Mimmi Hahne and Jasmyn Hale on the Second Team.

Florida Memorial University, Regular Season Champion and the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament, saw both Agar Farres Garcia and Kamesha Moore secure First Team honors.
"Agar is an amazing teammate and can play anywhere on the floor," said FMU women's basketball first year head coach Kevin Herod. "She is highly competitive and I'm blessed to be coaching her."

"Kamesha is a true competitor," explained Herod. "She's an unselfish teammate and highly passionate about the game of basketball."
Ave Maria University had significant representation with Colleen Shanahan on the First Team and Lavariah Armstead on the Second Team.
St. Thomas University celebrated Maddie Scharrenberg's First Team selection and Joey Delancy's inclusion in the Second Team. Webber International University's J Curry and Jaiden Ross, along with Warner University's Julia Gilbert and Courtney Logan, were all named to the Second Team, highlighting their impactful performances.
Rounding out the selections, College of Coastal Georgia's Tyler Butler and New College of Florida's Sierra Moore were recognized with Second Team honors.
Five representatives are repeat winners from last year (Elise Ellison, Mya Herman, Elliana Schaefer, Colleen Shanahan, and Mimmi Hahne).
The 2024-25 Sun Conference Women's Basketball Tournament Championship resumes on Friday, February 28th with two semifinal matchups. Third-seeded St. Thomas will face No. 2 Southeastern at 4:00 p.m. while fifth-seeded Ave Maria will take on top-seeded Florida Memorial on their home floor at 6:00 p.m. The Championship Game will take place in Miami Gardens at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1st.
